Projects

Chris St. Aubin=August 1, 2021
Sometimes I go over the top,
sometimes I push myself to try things
I’ve never done before, just to learn from my mistakes
and make the next one bigger and badder.
Well that was the case on this 2015 Hellcat Challenger.

There is SOOO much done to this ride, that I’m sure I will miss some things.
This build project was over the top for me and after all was said and done, the set backs, the frustrations, and the delays due to various things was well worth the end result. So without further delay, here it is.

I started off with a pile of Mosconi America / Gladen Audio America amplifiers, Audiofrog Car Audio speakers, Stinger wiring, Helix processor, @airliftsuspension air ride, and an ungodly amount of lighting.
The windshield was removed, tinted and reinstalled, only after I built locations for AudioFrog 4” speakers, and tweeters to build a seemless left/center/right soundstage. The front doors were fully lined with Dynamat liner and FAST Rings acoustic sealing rings to provide a proper environment for the audiofrog 6.5” midbass speakers. Speaking of dynamat, HOLY, did I apply so many sheets of the extreme material, top/bottom/front/back/left/right, everywhere you look, it’s covered!
Outback, well that is my proudest accomplishment to date. Starting with a pair of Audiofrog 12” subs, in a proper ported enclosure, faced in factory match vinyl, black suede, hand polished plexiglass, and edgelit with assignable LED’s that mimic the Challengers tail lights, and trace and chase in hundreds of patterns, left to right in the trunk, the centerpiece of this project is a bridge of #Mosconi Pro amplifiers. (2 1/10’s for the subs, and 3 4/10’s for the interior speakers). That’s 14 channels of amplification totaling roughly 3500 watts! On the drivers side is the #helix processor, and on the right is the #Stinger power and ground distribution blocks. Don’t forget to look down below the amplifier bridge. You’ll see a pair of painted to match #airliftperformance tanks, and compressor, also trimmed in with vinyl, suede and hand polished plexiglass. Ohhh, and that hellcat badge, dead center between the subs!
Securing this work of art is a Compustar t13 alarm remote start with #dronemobile cell phone control and piece of mind.
Enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed the project!
